History has long been a witness to the use of flower bouquets. In fact it is the view of this author that even history is not enough to provide the details and origins of the Flower Bouquet . The arrangement for gifts, home or building decor has a long history throughout the different parts of the words. As recorded, the oldest evidence recorded of any formal arranging of bouquets in vases comes from ancient Egypt, and depictions and citations of flower arrangements date to the Old Kingdom (~2500 BCE).

The sacred lotus, also called as Indian lotus,bean of India, Egyptian bean or simply lotus, is one of two extant species of aquatic plant in the family Nelumbonaceae.was often used, as herbs, palms, irises, anemones, and narcissus. It is often colloquially called a water lily.

In some parts of the world and some cultures, ancient practises still survive today, for example in ikebana, the very popular art of flower-arranging that comes from Japan. As recorded the oldest known book on flower-arranging is Japanese and dates from 1445. Simplicity and linear form are core features of ikebana, which has had a great influence on Western flower arranging since the late 19th century.

Buddhist monks brought flower-arranging as an art form to Japan, who, the buddhist, learned it while they where in China. In ancient China, flower-arranging developed into a highly refined art form, based on the principle that life is sacred, including the life of plants, therefore cut flowers were used sparingly in carefully planned arrangements. As a traditional ritual offering among Buddhists, Flowers were a very big part and remain so until now.
In Europe, flower arranging as a formal art was first documented among the Dutch, who "in particular, painted wonderful informal arrangements of flowers In the 18th century, arrangements were used to decorate the houses of the wealthy families and the aristocracy.
Flower symbolism or giving meaning to flowers is common in many parts of the world and cultures, and can be very diverse. In China, certain flowers symbolizes seasons: white plum blossoms represent winter, peach and cherry blossoms represent spring, lotus represents summer, and chrysanthemums the fall.

On the Fool, the white rose symbolizes purity and is a reminder to cleanse the mind. On the Magician card, it signifies unfolding wisdom. On the Strength card the rose represents balance. And on the Death card it’s a reminder of purity, clarity, and transparency of intent.
